Rainflow software was first developed in 1998 as part a project
for monitoring wave impact analysis on naval ships. The software
was later modified and further functionality was added to
make it a stand alone program. Durability provides customization
of the software on a per project basis. To-date the software is
being used by a large number of companies world-wide.
The software is offered in 3 different versions. The LabVIEW
libraries are to to be used as sub-VIs in the National Instrument's
LabVIEW programming environment. The Standard and Professional
versions are stand alone applications that do not require
any 3rd party software. The stand alone applications run on Windows
platform and are tested in Windows 98, NT, 2000, and XP.
The following provide a summary of features for each version.
